Guykayser was born in Paris in 1954. In the beginning of his career as a painter and sculptor he was attracted by digital tools and started using them to make "collective self-portraits".
Guykayser was awarded the Grand Prize of the Montrouge Salon in 1995. His works are part of important collections such as Collection MAC/VAL and of numerous private collections.
