Julie Hauer’s paintings reflect her experiences, emotions, and take us through a thought and transformation process of ‘being’.
The artist expresses herself freely on the canvas; the colour and its movements swaying between extreme restraint and free, sensitive spontaneity. The creative process, the textures and components lead to abstract and contemplative artworks. Emptiness holds an important place in her work and highlights the balance between the psychic intention and the energy of doing.
Since 2012 Julie Hauer consecrate herself exclusively to her artistic research, which is nourished through continuous form and visual, as well as internal experiences.
In 2013 she participates in collective and individual exhibitions on Reunion Island (La Ligne, Opus Art). In 2014, she displays Form Is Emptiness, her first solo exhibition, in Zurich’s Kronengalerie, and in Galerie Audet, France.
