In the Aveyron, the family fief, and particularly on the Aubrac plateau, Nathalie Miquel learnt to love nature. She drew her inspiration from those wide and wild but organised landscapes. During her studies she discovered nude painting, which became obvious to her.
Later in Paris she practises her observation capacity and her artistic curiosity. After a first professional experience in publicity, Nathalie Miquel went in for computer drawing.
But she was still craving for nature and in 1999 she left Paris for the Aveyron. She decided to move to Barcelona where Trac studio taught her new techniques. Since 2004 she is a full-time artist. Her work is sensitive and instinctive, always looking for the essential.
