Julie Mechali is a French photographer born in 1982 in Normandy. She lives and works in Paris.

Sensitive to colors and textures since she was a child, fascinated by light, Julie Mechali started to take photographs during her teenage years. At the age of 15 she started to work with light artists on light scenography for concerts and shows.

At the age of 20, after obtaining her BTS in Photography, she startet to work as a food photographer. Sensitive to beauty of the instant and to art tha wakes the senses, Julie Mechali is a artist involved in the apparition of "Food Painting" current.
