After a period in which he has been interested in comics, Eric Denudt's vocation for painting becomes clear very early, at the age of 12.
He joins the school of plastic arts in Lille, and he learns drawing techniques.
At first he worked around cubism and abstraction, but today today his work can be situated close to realism .
His approach is to "position" himself in the world of images. It is a work that consists of a choice he makes. From a tactical point of view, he chooses a theme and his own references. Then he sets the scene, the framing, and he stays faithful to visual authenticity. He doesn't spend too much time searching for form, nor for a style of drawing. Then, he gives a consistency to the pictorial transpositionby gradually "taming" the paint and working on the effects of color and light.
His paintings are as easy and soft as melodies.
