Nicolas Gasiorowski

Born in 1958 - France

Nicolas Gasiorowski is a French painter born in 1958, he lives and works in Ivry-sur-Seine.
Nicolas Gasiorowski practices drawing from a young age. In 1979, he joined the School of Fine Arts of Paris, which he decided to leave one year later, choosing to learn by himself.

Very influenced by different painters such as Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky and Picasso, Nicolas decided to open his own studio, a few years after his formation, and chose to sign his works with the name Gazio.

In 2010, Gazio decided to sign his pieces again as Nicolas Gasiorowski and began a new phase in his artistic career. He creates pieces increasingly gestural in which the human figure resembles more a vegetal, natural.

Nowadays, Nicolas Gasiorowski is a painter with a tendency towards abstraction and he decided to come back to the subject of painting faces.
