Presentation

Chloé Nicosia pursues an introspective work full of melancholy: Omoide Poro Poro (2010), realised in silver emulsion, attempts to capture childhood moments, whereas Baària (2012), a familial quest on a maternal earth, is a return to his Sicilian origins.

Sensitive to the urban universe to which she applies a resolutely dreamlike treatment, she realises in 2009 a series named Urbs focused on the city lighting, then Divina Proporzione in 2015 where she wonders about the possibility of applying the golden rule to the city's furniture.

Since her creations, she asserts herself more and more as a plastic artist, working on the spatial installation of her pictures, but also by realizing clearly sculptural works, like Ex voto (2015), reinvented religious objects that exorcise a personal physical pain.
