Ludovic Boulard Le Fur

He was born in 1981 and graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Ludovic Boulard Le Fur invented a dream like fetish which doesn't have a name. His drawings and installations suggest a work/world in perpetual move.

Constantly soul-searching on a means to make them live (paintings, drawings on paper, engraved wood, rubbing, bas-relief, sculptures and the art of building...), he turned into an archeologist who belonged to a mysterious past and whose basis can be found in his infatuation for destroyed remains of the ancient civilizations, like in Jack Kirby's American comic books in the 70's or in the old traditions of the French countryside.

Loads of etchings, deserted titans, scarecrows, pieces of statues, warriors-backpackers, street artists, rogues and rascals...These dwellers are born and die in fiery landscapes, a true passion constantly evoked by the artist. According to him, the state of ruin isn't synonymous with the end but with resurgence.
