JLM (Jean Le Mac)

JLM (Jeanlemac) was born in 1983; he lives and works in Bastia (Corsica).


Influenced by Bansky, miss Van, c215, Roy Lichtenstein, JLM mixes ingeniously the graff and the comics. He recycles and customizes all supports, statues, toys arts, pieces of furniture, skates, shoes, bodies. Its works are accomplished in live (without sketches) with tools, techniques and mediums which correspond to the instant.


His emblem is a paint spray with wings; it is found, in all places where he passes, on walls and iron curtains of boutiques. Following the example of his identification, JLM is called to be most pointed out possible (according to the rites of the first New Yorkers street artists). The fact that the Graff is for him a natural function, without suffering, without protesting other message than the one which express with complete freedom flashes and poetic spirit that enliven him.
