Born in: 1974

Alione is a French photographer, painter for street art, born in 1974.

Alione did his studies at Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, where he chose drawing as his specialty.

Initially inspired by photos, Alione discovered painting in 2003, he got involved with rage, power and determination. One can sense a filiation with Basquiat in his "Bad paintings". He also practices many "mixed techniques" in collages.

An initial selection at MacParis in 2009, led the artist to make through the front door of contemporary art and exhibiting in galleries.

The series "Lofts" began in 2014, displaying interior scenes, a cross between painting, realism, graffiti and comics. During Spring 2016, a ready to wear collection was created through one of his paintings namely « Ne rien regretter ».

Alione stands out with generosity in urban landscapes, he moves around shapes, un-paints icons, distorts cities, un-frames bodies to show his vision on the world to us. His playful humor, genuine rage create an unusual and original universe, but also bright and committed paintings.

Several galleries exhibit his work in France and Brussels.
