Pierre Le Cacheux

Born in: 1946

Pierre Le Cacheux is a French painter, born in 1946.
Pierre studied in several Parisian institutions, ranging from Ecole des Arts-Appliqués and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he also obtained a bachelors in Visual Arts and architecture.

Since over three decades now, Pierre Le Cacheux decided to paint without worrying about trends and the official taste, therefore his art is neither contemporary nor academic. His works always waver between abstraction and figuration.

Pierre Le Cacheux strives to represent the real according to his own conception but also demonstrate true emotions through colors. He claims to have absolutely no derivation and is simply a painter. He is known for his stained windows, church furnishings and chasubles.

Factories, mutilated landscapes and eradicated trees are among his favorite patterns...Pierre Le Cacheux's work is a metaphor of time, therefore affects us personally.
