Pascal Rat, painter, visual artist, graphic designer.

I was born in Saint Brieuc, I live and works in Brittany, in this region full of mysteries and landscapes more beautiful and varied than the others, where life is good and to create.

How to present my artistic work without mentioning colors, movement, contrast, light, but also working on and with the material. I work as well on glass, in window glass, as on acrylic canvases, I created mixed techniques based on pastels, ink, scraping, which allow me to give contrasts and volumes to my work.

Sometimes a painting on canvas inspires a painting on glass, or a canvas dialogue with his glass accomplice.
The glass is a real meeting, the work of it is upside down, in "vitrophanie", which complicates the work but often gives very nice surprises.

I try to give pleasure to the eyes of others, to convey my vision of the poetry of color.
