Patrick Danion was born on April 14, 1950, in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. He studied at the Academy Charpentier in 1967-1968, at the Beaux-Arts in 1967, and worked as an illustrator between 1977- 1989.
Originally from Paris, he attended the School of Fine Arts, because more than anything, he has this visceral desire to devote his life to painting. From an impeccable classicism, influenced by the Impressionists, he switches to the figurative surrealism inspired by Magritte.
