Aurel Cablan

Aurel Cablan is a French artist born in Senlis in 1987. He lives and works in Paris. Naturally curious and diligent, from an early age he has been amazed by small details of his day-to-day life. Small details randomly crossed notably during his numerous trips that simply he depicts in black ink, with all their poetic and peculiar nature. His small drawings, where the subject is like an extract of its environment, compels us to give it the central place it lacks in its general context. It becomes impossible to miss it. We can then understand its magic, and sometimes their humor. A new story is being drawn, with so much to tell us. His work invites us to be more careful about small details of our routine, these hundreds of potential stories, that usually remain unknown but could tell us another story about our life and the life of the others we have crossed.
