Nessa

Nessa was born in St Nazaire on January 26, 1976. As far as she can remember, Nessa has always drawn. Within art schools, she developed her mastery of the line, but it was self-taught that she built her identity: an intuitive painter.

Abandoning all academicism, his universe is expressed in the meeting of original materials and assertive reliefs. To paint, for Nessa, is “to put oneself in motion, in contact with one's emotions. Instinctive, her gesture is born in the full abandon of herself. Both intense and spontaneous, his improvisations are powerfully sensual. Punctuated by the gesture, the natural pigments worked in oil, India ink and aero bind and oppose, merge and release energy, in a vitalist surge.

Nessa's canvas also evoke meditative beaches, where serenity is offered to others. The fruits of her inner journey, the peaceful landscapes that she reveals reveal a dreamlike exoticism.
