Born in 1978 in Tehran, Maryam Farnoodnia has been passionate about drawing since the age of seven with a childhood under bombing and war. She began studying art in Tehran. Immigrated to France since 2005, she finished her studies in History of Contemporary Art in Lille III.
Her pictorial work is in a way a reflection of his inner life made of extravagant realities and surprises. It carries to us a mysterious language structured by a vital necessity, with doubt and uncertainty as stimulating.
