François Ferrier is a painter, born in Paris in 1976.
After beginning with a career in music, Ferrier eventually turned towards pictorial art. He went through various trainings at Beaux-Arts Paris and Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs in order to improve his technique.
François Ferrier's work might be diversified but his painting remains rather minimalist, the human figure is often not present. Indeed, the painter uses landscapes as his theme quite often, may they be urban or rural.
His other passion namely music is present in his creations as well. Ferrier's palette might seem dark and fruitless at first glance, it is actually tinted with a gentle and warm light, which envelopes the spectator.
