Born in Abidjan in 1977, she joined the Bertholle Academy in Paris where she was a student of André Bouzereau. A precocious artist, she experimented with painting very early on; a painter's career on which has been grafted an upholstery know-how. Nourished and influenced by the strangeness of things, Anita Mishra's painting displays a real inner richness.
