Dominique Leuthold

French painter born in 1950 in Ile-de-France, Dominique Leuthold first of all led a career of twenty years in communication in Paris. From this period, she will retain a keen sense of visual concept and a taste for conciseness of the message.

In 1995, she decided to devote herself entirely to her passion, painting, and pursued artistic training. Thus, trained at the school of the famous portrait painter Edouard Mac Avoy (1905-1991) in the Parisian studio of one of his students, Dominique Leuthold acquired this rigor of looking "behind things" and of drawing. “Between the lines” necessary for the realization of this demanding art that is the representation of the Human Figure.
