Myriam Ghilan

Born in 1991, at the foot of the misty Alsatian balloons, it is in Rabat, under the warm colors of Morocco, that Myriam Ghilan grew up. From her Moroccan childhood, Myriam will keep this unique look at a thousand-year-old culture and an undeniable taste for the elements of the earth and nature.

The Mediterranean Sea and the richness of its seabed; the Cherifian sky and its precious lights; nature and its sparkling minerals are all elements that we will find later at the heart of his works and creations.

Growing up, she tried her hand at drawing, silk painting, pottery, but also learned embroidery, weaving, glass and wood engraving ... The threads of ancestral Moroccan arts cross and intertwine thus in the dreams and the imagination of the young artist. Later, the young woman will draw her inspiration from the heart of Moroccan culture: from these women with shimmering kaftans, these fabrics with shimmering reflections and their bustiers embroidered with pearls ... glass beads that will become, over time. of his works, a true signature.

After her baccalaureate, Myriam continued her studies until obtaining a master's degree in marketing in luxury trades. But it is in creation, her true passion, that she decides to pursue and flourish. From figurative to abstract art, Myriam's paintings are recognizable by the authentic fusion of these famous shimmering glass beads and luminescent acrylic paints.

In March 2018, she had her first consecration during the opening of the exhibition of her first paintings, “Pluie d'étoiles”, at Galerie 89, in Paris. Then, from June 1 to September 15, it is the famous gallery of Place des Vosges, Galaxie des Arts, which welcomes the works of the painted artist's femininity and freedom.

Today, Myriam has also embarked on interior decoration, imagining, creating and adding many sculptures and decorative objects to her collection.
