"I am a full-time painter. My name is Maria Garcia Molió, (Molió is the name inherited from my mother). I have been passionate about art and architecture since my childhood, trained in technical drawing , calligraphy and visual arts in academy of fine arts I am also self-taught, a kind of free electron!
My best learning comes from the museums I visited, thirsty for discoveries, drinking from the great masters, first in Spain (my native country), passing through London and Lorient during the years of study, then afterwards in Paris. sure ! Among the arts, painting is my preferred mode of expression, to this day anyway. Painting the old-fashioned way in a contemporary world, in oil or acrylic, but…. in my way !
Because the pleasure of painting is for me the expression of my whole body and soul. Painting is the materialization of my quests and convictions. My goal at the moment is to transmit the joy that inhabits me through my works, in the hope of bringing light to those who will know how to perceive it, and to illuminate their path towards an awareness in favor of Nature, in a very aquatic universe. "
