A student, already driven by the desire to acquire an artistic culture, I took art history courses at the faculty for a year in parallel with my law studies.

Self-taught, I have always had a strong connection with painting. I grew up in an environment where art had an important place: my mother, who took part of the fine arts courses, always painted. She expressed herself in the figurative and had a particular appetite for classical painters known for their work on light such as Turner.

Today I share with her this admiration for her work. Painting has become a mode of expression for me over the past ten years. I express through my artistic creation above all my sensitivity and a particular outlook on the world. Today, I exhibit mainly in Paris but also abroad. Technically, I work mainly in oil or in mixed technique. My travels, my meetings are a source of inspiration: I transcribe my emotions, my memories, unconscious feelings, the vibrating luminosity of a twilight, the musicality of an atmosphere.

Earth, water and light are recurring themes in my work. The associations of warm tones evocative of the countries of the East or Africa are articulated on the canvas. The materials, in particular the resins, capture the light, evoke the stone, the mineral character of rough wild landscapes. The sustained turquoise blue pigments encourage an escape to seascapes. My work is a subtle balance between sketches and abstraction, shadows and lights, roughness and fluidity. I am looking for a balance between these components. Light, often present, gives a timeless character to the works. Fruit of my imagination, each work remains a proposition to the spectator who appropriates it according to his experience through a very personal interpretation. This interpretation gives them meaning and stimulates me even more.
