Katerina Bednarova

My name is Katerina Bednarova. I am 34 years old and was born in the Czech Republic. Since I was 20, I live and work in France.

My love for art is inked in me since childhood and even if I have never studied art, I was able to obtain technical bases through various painting workshops and plastic arts that I frequented in the Czech Republic and Paris.

My artistic approach:

I want to clarify that I am self-taught, my main medium is painting.

Painting is not just for me a way to escape. It represents above all a universal and very personal language at the same time. But it's up to the viewer to tame the painting, to give it meaning ... or not.

It is through lines and colors that I give birth to the human, the main protagonist, bearer of sensations and multiple variations of the soul. Whether it's a fragment of a video or a music, a dance step, I realize that inspiration often comes from other artistic areas that are an inseparable part of my life.
