Born in 1984 in Bordeaux, Thibault Messac is a French artist and Professor of applied arts.
Thibault Messac studied at the National Superior School of Fine Arts. The artist focuses on the subject of deformation, distortion and about this feeling of disturbing weirdness. Just like a scientist, the artist studies, experiments and develops his subject to make them more understandable and recreate the images he has in mind. The Shape is the center of his work, but his work always have a tendency toward deformity trying to transform reality.
At first glance, Thibault Messac's pieces are complex and it takes a few seconds of observation to detect a deep and real connection. Often in large formats, a colorful and precise line delimits the shapes of his drawings and immerses the observer in a fantastic and almost organic world.
