For Joy Caloc, it is the expression of an emotion, of a feeling. Of a soul, in short. His figurative paintings surprise with their poetry and bright colors. The painter does not seek ultra-realism, but rather to question the observer, to invite him to reverie and to travel, to attach his heart to his works.

She paints in oils, but also in egg yolk, in a mixed technique which aims to make the oil painting less toxic and more luminous. With twenty-four years of technical experience acquired through personal research, this accomplished painter puts her know-how at the service of questioning what makes us human in a world that is increasingly individualistic, robotic and cold.
