Alexandre ALLOUL

Born into a family of artists, Alexandre Alloul is a Parisian photographer raised in drawing, impressionist painting, photography, and video. 

With a degree in visual communication, he spent twenty years as an Artistic Director in the world of marketing and advertising, which allowed him to develop real expertise in regards to the power of the image. The family history within the studio created by his great-grandfather nearly 50 years ago in Levallois-Perret is a legacy that he now wants to develop and enrich with his own vision.

Captivated first by the magic of the "argentique" process, Alexandre Alloul now works in the present thanks to digital cameras, capturing secretive images that perfectly match his artistic approach: Almost therapeutic revealing his need to materialize and express his aesthetic sensitivity and his vision urban living. 

Spontaneous, graphic and delicate photographs, nourished by his travels, his encounters and his resolutely optimistic vision of life. An intimate art that naturally imposes itself as a subtle contemplation of its environment where the notion of transparency is extremely present, between abstract reverberations, mysterious illusions, and invisible reflections.
