Zong

Born in 1986 in Roubaix, lives and works in Belgium. Self-taught artist, Zong works with oil painting in contemporary and colorful works. Through his art, he explores the fluidity of movement according to a clean and instinctive technique.

The works are made in a jet releasing a surge of brushstrokes and represent all the power and energy of Nature. The painting must be a vector of the beauty of this energy, which connects all things and being of the universe. It is possible to reinscribe his work in a heritage of Asian landscape painting, where this idea of synergy between expressionist representation and the dynamism of Nature is central. Likewise, we find the concept of an energetic alliance between Man and the world, between the microcosm and the macrocosm.
