Biography
Chalotte Marchand is a French artist born in 1988, based in Geneva. After studying graphic design, she joined the prestigious Emile Cohl School in Lyon and finished her studies at the Superior School of Arts of Annecy. Charlotte Marchand focuses on the plastic representation of her environment and of the field she loves. A big admirer of David Hockey, which is probably the cause of certain contradictions in her paintings, she has mastered over several years the diverse approaches to a joyous constant; her passion for others. In addition, to two years in London which allowed her to discover and evolve in the world of Street Art. She has exhibited her work in several galleries in London (Espacio Gallery, The Arch Gallery, The Brick Lane Gallery). She represented Switzerland at the Fine Arts Festival in 2015, which gathered more than 200 international artists and in the beginning of 2016 she won the "Coup de Cœur" prize granted by MyRankArt and she got to exhibit her work at the Contemporary Art Fair "Artoulouse" in March.
