Nathaly Vera was born in Savigny sur Orge in 1972. She has been been drawing and painting since more than 20 years.
Initially, Nathaly Vera developed her art and technique by taking orders. Through a continuous reproduction of photos, she specialized in a hyper-realistic style. She then evolved this aspect by remaining attached to her initial artistic approach and improved it a little more. Pastel, pencil, watercolor, oil or acrylic are techniques which help her progress.
In 2016, her work will take a major turning point. Her hyper-realistic portraits come across Pop Art. A true artistic love at first sight, these two aspects join to make one. For Nathaly Vera, this is when things fell into place and she was able to convey joy and energy through her works.
Her portraits sparkle. The colors shake up the whole painting and one can actually hear the characters laughing. Realism allows her to capture the character and expression she portrays, through the physical and mental aspect of her characters, pop art provides a row of optimism and joyfulness. A mixture of style is seen in the deep looks of her characters and through the several nuances. Nathaly Vera mainly does portrait work and this way she is able to get closer to each one's individuality.
Feminine models are highlighted in this series where sensuality and fulfillment are the key words.
Exhibited for the first time in 2000 at the town hall in the 15th district, this is when she was discovered by several galleries. Displayed at the Forum des Associations in 2016, she continues to exhibit her work, while teaching drawing.
