Libre Kom L'art is a French artist specialized in graffiti and street art, born in 1979. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Caen, city in which he currently lives and works.
In his work, the artist combines the techniques he learned at the School of Fine Arts and those he has learned through his practice of street art. His practice is influenced by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, JonOne, El Seed, L'Atlas... In his piece "Libre Kom l'Art" calligraphy plays a main role. In parallel, he directed his artistic research towards introspection. "The idea is to explore the human soul through the work of the trait, proposing an image that comes directly from the heart" I also create in the studio on different supports: my work revolves around the image of scribes, short texts and the art of mosaics", says the artist.
