Delphine Rocher is a graduate of the Superior School of Applied Arts Duperré. She is a graphic designer, illustrator and painter. In her works, she likes to navigate between small formats, which require precision and restraint, and large canvases based on a work of energy, depth, material.
His favorite themes are the American West, adolescence, scenes of life. In her series Le Nouveau Western, she talks about the relationship between man and landscape. She plays with reality and the incongruous: a jump in space, a truncated perspective, an inverted image, a light from multiple sources. As for his teenage figures, they evoke this sweet and tumultuous period of life which mixes reverie and energy, the nonchalance of an age between two waters.
