Karine Joubert

Born in 1969 - France

Karine Joubert is a French artist born in Boulogne Billancourt in 1969.

After a career in the medical world, she finally decided to consecrate to her creative passion, sculpture. She sculpts animals, sometimes in a very realist style, while others following a more refined line resembling the art of Origami. Delicacy and strenght combine in her pieces, where she plays with the volumes to reinterpret the animals that she chooses in a graphical and geometric way.

She draws her inspiration from the wilderness, the universe of rock and she admires the work of artists such as Richard Orlinski, Pascal Bourdon and Pascal Masi.
