Full autodidact I always liked to draw and when I think about it, I cannot say how many school notebooks, drawing pads, loose sheets, I have blackened, or smeared since my childhood. I have thus, over time, realized that drawing is the basis of everything. I found a way of life there, not to say a philosophy. Later, admiring the major works of the great masters of the 17th and 18th centuries gave me a taste for painting. For practical reasons of space and spontaneity I chose watercolor. I learned later that it was not necessarily the easiest. 

Seeking to reproduce what we see, without distorting or distorting it and without pretending to reach the perfection that emanates from it, gives intense joy. But this requires knowing how to look at nature, to feel it vibrate, to listen to it sing, to grasp its spirit to perceive its quintessence. By reproducing it on a support, I keep the hope of merging with it and of keeping in my heart the furtive perception of perfection that it shows us at every moment. Is this not the goal that every artist should give himself? Similarly, how not to marvel at human genius by looking at these old stones that remind us of their history, our History. Shaped, assembled according to the rules and secrets of fellow builders, although inert, they give us lessons in life.
