Presentation

Jean-Claude Pallier is a French artist, born in 1946.

After having grown up at the banks of the Atlantic, he settled for some time in Paris and became a cabinetmaker restorer. He restores prestigious furniture for the Château de Sceaux, the Chateaubriand residence and the Chateau de Versailles.

He began exploring seascapes in the Parisian region and then moved to Loire-Atlantique and decided to devote himself to painting and portray the atmosphere and the lights of the ocean. Passionate about the sea and entertainment (sailing or diving), he makes realistic and figurative paintings and harbor remains his favorite theme.

His artistic research is turned towards alchemy between light, sky and the water, working on reflections, mainly interested by stormy skies.

He received several awards including the Maryse Anderbouhr from the Taylor foundation, where he is also a member, and was also selected at the Marine Fair.
