Thierry Loule

Of Portuguese origins, Thierry Loule is a French painter who was born in 1967 in Toulon. Known specially for exhibiting his work in galleries, besides César, Buffet, Miro, Modigliani, Zadkine, Rodin, De Stael, Arman, Picasso, Warhol, Georges Braque, Niki de St Phalle, Roy Linstenskein... After studying plastic arts in Paris, he continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts of Toulon in 1987.

"I do not paint what I see, but what I feel. My paintings are paintings of the inner soul. I try to highlight the essential of who we are as human beings. Feelings are the same for everybody in all the cultures of the world" declares the artist.

Thierry Loule exhibits his work regularly in galleries and in contemporary art centers, in Germany, as well as in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, London, Cannes, St Tropez, Paris, New York... He has participated in fairs, including at the "Salon d'Automne" in 2002 and in 2003, year in which the prize of the performance for the creation of a painting was given to him. He exhibited his work at the "Salon des Indépendants" in 2003 and at the "Salon des Artistes Français" in Paris in 2004. His pieces belong to private collections, in Amsterdam, Paris, Lisbon, among others. His work has been the objects of several publications, at the Azart Magazine in the "dictionary of modern and contemporary plastic arts " JP DELARGE (Ed Grund), July/August 2005.
