Biography

Gregoire Eloy is a French photographer, born in Cannes in 1971.

After having done a course in Economics and Finance and a business career, he has devoted himself to photography since 2003. He was Stanley Greene's assistant between 2003 and 2004. His first photographic project which stemmed from a journey on the new key lines of Europe during autumn 2003, was prizewinning at the Bourse du Talent Reportage de Photographie.com in 2004.

Since 2003, he carried on with his reports in former Soviet Union and Central Asia on topics revolving around space, memory and the Soviet legacy, recently in Georgia and around the Aral sea.

In 2010 and 2011, he collaborated with F93, the cultural center of Seine-Saint-Denis on topics related to science, especially his “Black Matter" series, created in astrophysics laboratories, which went on to being a book and was published in the Editions Journal in 2012.
