Presentation

Following a course in interior architecture in Paris and after a few years of activity in an agency, daily life had become a routine without any real goal. I felt the need to get away from it all, to go see something else and change my lifestyle.

So I decided to go on an adventure, drop everything to travel and go to South America. A trip where I learned to take time and where I understood how precious it is. A trip where I was able to make wonderful encounters, where I was moved by the beauty of the landscapes that I discovered little by little on my way. A return to essential things which made me want to draw again, to return to what had led me to study "the archi", namely drawing.

First with sketchbooks, then with frescoes on the walls of inns to barter a few nights. A relationship with space that I really liked; a way to leave a trace of my passage through an artistic intervention, to convey an emotion, my vision, my inspiration of the moment. Leave a message and try to reach people, get them to stop and take the time to watch.

When I returned to France in 2017, drawing and making frescoes made sense and I decided to devote myself to it.

With a view to openness and experimentation, I like to approach my work through various scales and media such as paper, mural, installation or collage. Really passionate about the line as a vibrant material, my works converge on the same search for a dynamic composition within which the void becomes a living element. An opening to the world of imagination and creation. I also explore the notion of multiple reading and optical effects, form and counter-form, as a way to question the way we observe what surrounds us. In this process, the impregnation of the subject, the environment in which I operate, the sensations and especially the instinct, define the bases of my creative process.

Fascinated by the aura of faces and their expressions, I also develop a work around the portrait, in which, I explore the subtle limit between what we see and what we perceive of the other. A quest that results in a photorealistic treatment, reflection of the physical world that I mix with my dreamlike universe, sometimes abstract, reflection of the psychic and sensitive world of each.
