Artistic approach :
Frob is a walker. Of those who survey the landscape, alone, attentive, to find there innate links. He traces these wanderings in an abundant graphic design. If his work instinctively reminds one of the New York graphic designers of the 80s (Haring, Basquiat, Schardf), it is perhaps more on the side of Richard Long and his incessant back and forth that we must seek a legacy. These black contours are organic, spider-like and offer us to see a reconstituted, rich and hypnotic landscape.
Frob is an insomniac. Of those dark hours exploring the whys, tirelessly, obsessively, he undoes the shackles. Its design becomes rhizome, underground, linking everyone to everything. He offers us an answer, maps a because to relationships that only he can see. Places, people, emotions and their colors come together in a single, reassuring plan.

Frob is passionate. His work evolves over the course of research, his use of color becomes freer, and his recent works gain in material and depth.
Pauline Deville.

Organic :
Born in 1970, Frob has always drawn on scraps of notebooks. During his law studies, he escaped the benches of the faculty by munching on his peers, also inspired by the long litanies of his fascinating professors. Today he works on his own, day and then at night, an insomniac, he draws on notebooks and paints on canvas. He loves coffee. He also likes comics and it shows in his compositions with large black lines. Initially focused on spitting portraits, it evolves today on a form of naive, raw, free figurative (at least that is what his well-informed relatives indicate to him). He likes to have a big black felt-tip pen in his pocket and acrylic tubes and pots never too far away (except during the day because he works). He is constantly learning, discovering, experimenting. Recent and curious phenomenon: when he has not painted for 2 days, he has small tremors in his left hand.
