Yoann Borsato

Urban artist residing in Corbeil-Essones, Yoann Borsato discovered painting from an early age in his grandmother's studio in Burgundy.

He has been practicing graffiti since the early 2000s on the various media offered by the city (walls, railroads and trains).

After a short stint at the Condé School of Applied Art, he took another path which led him consecutively to Chile, Brazil and Mexico for 2 years where he discovered other painting approaches and techniques.

Thanks to his various trips to Latin America and his painting which is inspired by it, he has participated for 3 years in various street art festivals. He was also invited to create large walls for his hometown of Auxerre.

Today, his work marked by his exchanges, his travels and his daily life in the Parisian suburbs tends to restore contemporary landscapes, imaginary and borrowed from nostalgia.
