Presentation
Begins graffiti in 1989. Installed in Normandy. After 10 years of graffiti activism, Oré discovers during trips to Mexico the mythical pre-Columbian feathered serpent, Quetzalcóatl, which will become a central element of his artistic universe.
While continuing to paint spontaneously in public space, he produced frescoes as part of official commissions, and exhibited his works in France as well as abroad (Germany, England, Greece, Spain, Mexico, Nicaragua ). He is regularly invited for performances at urban art events.
Protean artist, Oré explores, beyond his passion for Mayan mythology and Quetzalcóatl, all types of themes through various techniques (stencil, freehand spray, brush, collage).
You can see his Quetzalcóatl cut in wood, then glued, in 40 cities in France and around the world (Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, London, Marseille, Mexico, Paris, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Tokyo…).
In parallel with his career as an urban artist, Oré creates works of Land Art. In 2011, he made a first monumental lettering in stones, in Greece at the foot of Mount Olympus. He continues this creative path in natural spaces as he travels: Death Valley in California, Bardenas Desert in Spain, Finnish Lapland.
