Presentation
The concepts of Living (Nature) and Dream are at the very core of my painting. I want to call out to viewers about the invisible (to the human eye) and to celebrate connection in the living world as well as the entanglement of Life on our planet and beyond.
Color is a main tool in my work which pursues a certain wish for re-enchantment and wonderment, in order to counter the current disenchantment.
Dream. Contemplate. Play. Escape.
I aim at the inner child and the young generations to create this necessary lucid awareness about what it is that makes us alive and makes us human animals ultimately.
My main influences are Odilon Redon and Arshile Gorky, as well as Agnes Pelton, Paul Klee, Wols, Hilma Af Klint, Khalo, Hermen Anglada Camarasa, Chagall and Gauguin.
