Tasha Wolff

I was born in the Soviet Union and since that country no longer exists, I was born nowhere. It is Fabulous Nowhere that I explore throughout my artistic production. This nowhere has nothing to do with the mediocre reality to which I was subjected: a permanent regulation of all expression, a lack of creativity for the benefit of Soviet realism. That's why in my work I intertwine, like astral planes, worlds, techniques, multiple subjects, I make mostly volumes and sculptures. The meaning of my creations is never unequivocal, I leave a free field to the equivocal, to the unsaid, to the multitude of interpretations... 

I work on two parts: Exodus and Organitronc. 

Exodus implies adventure, escape, movement towards and has the infinity, the disproportion, the parallel worlds, an endless adventure, beyond the horizons. Organitronc is a diabolical and subliminal fusion of the organic and orgasmic elements, the interpenetration of bones, fibers, organs, it is the creation of new metaphysical entities, it is an immensity of encounters and the crossing of destinies, it is the possibility of the impossible.
