Originally from the alternative world of the 80s, KristX practices the art of drawing and street graffitti using brushes, pencils, bombs and rollers. A self-taught artist, her curiosity led her to discover the work of other artists from whom she draws her inspiration. Currently living in Ivry-sur-Seine, she dedicates entirely to her passion.

Punk-rock iconography and subjects of street art are represented in her universe.

KristX's artistic practice is based mostly on oil painting with a knife, charcoal drawing, stencil and aerosol bomb. Her favorite supports are walls and recycled objects. A sharp sense of the line, volume and colors is at the service of her very singular touch. She claims painting is a way of expression and sharing. Through her work, the artist aspires to make an impact: from admiration to criticism but an effect. Her universe oscillates between tenderness and melancholy. A touch of exoticism disturbs and creates a bunch of bright colors.

The artist did her first solo exhibition at the Lavo/Matik in 2015 and did a color project in 2016. In parallel to her personal career, KristX works on numerous group projects: Le Parcours Aucwin, Treize a Quai, Art2rue Vitry, the Hip Hop Festival of culture, Dirty Harry, Street Cats and Strokar in Belgium. Her work was awarded with the Grand Prize of Graffiti held at La Manufature where she obtained the third place.
