Sam Partaix

Sam Partaix is an artist born in Paris. It was in that city where he spent his childhood before his familly moved to Valenciennes, and then Tours. Before photography, skateboarding was the artist's first passion and first profession, Sam Partaix is a famous professional skater, an activity that led him to travel around the world, and to work with numerous skateboard brands such as Antiz skateboards, Destructo trucks, Independent trucks and Savate socks.

It was during his training sessions that the artist started to shoot the world around him. The result of this technical prowess is an immersive work, at the heart of an instant and the practice of skateboarding. Later on, he extended his practice and got interested in other subjects, which he found during his peregrinations. Systematically, his unique pieces are screenprinted on one or several skateboards, in an ultra contemporary spirit which resembles the artist's personality.

Sam Partaix's work has seduced the art galleries: the artist has exhibited his work in Saint-Jean de Luz, London and Paris.
