Revaz Verulidze is a self-taught sculptor living in Georgia. The material he works with is black wood which he gets from the marshland of Kobuleti, a type of wood that can be found only in Africa and Georgia. The expertise of the National Museum of Georgia revealed that the material is 10.000 years old.

Revaz Verulidze creates sculptures that he defines as "abstract-surrealistic". His works have been sold in many countries of Europe and they are kept in private collections as well.
