Artist Cocco Santamuerte was born in Cologne, Germany. He has been passionate about art since early childhood.
At the time he used to paint what he felt like on his school books, on walls and on any surface he could find. Later he started to write graffiti and other quotes or personal convictions on the walls of old abandoned buildings.
After finishing his studies, Cocco Santamuerte traveled a lot, driven by an unquenchable wanderlust. He has lived in Brazil, South Africa, Ibiza and The Netherlands. The latter influenced the way he sees art and this is where he learned how to paint.
It was the beginning of an fascinating process throughout which he defined his own style, between media images, fashion photography and collage.
