Gésine Marwedel is born in 1987 in Eckernförde, Germany, and raised in Dortmund.
After finishing school in 2005, she worked in an indian orphanage for some months. The experiences she lived there had influences on her subject of study as well as on her work
She studied "rehabilitation science" from 2005 to 2008 and finished with the BA graduation.
From 2009-2016 she worked as a speech-therapist, and studied creative therapy, she finished it in 2011 with the diploma. In 2013 she began a formation for become psychoonkologist that she finished in 2015.
Since 2016 she is working as an art/creative-therapist in a center for autism-therapy.
Furthermore she is involved in a project at the children´s hospital of Dortmund, where she does music and art with ill and handicapped children.
She continues working as an artist, doing Bodypainting, Hennapainting, Wallpaining and Paintings on canvas. Her style is mostly realistic or surrealistic. She works currently on a bodypainting project about breast cancer.
The materials she prefers use are oil on wood or oil on canvas, but she uses a lot of different colors and materials, such as pastel, chalk, acryl paints or pencils. For the Bodypaintings she uses eudermic colours only.
Her other passions are salsa dancing, playing the piano and the violoncello.
