Biography
Edgar Askolovitch is a German artist, born in 1987. After having studied at the Vilnius Justinas Vienožinskis art school, he did his training at the Vilnius Academy of art in Lithuania and obtained his bachelors in Fine arts at the University of art and design in Birmingham, UK in 2013. His artistic research is focused on the sculpture. He creates his molds beforehand in silicon, fiberglass and resin. He first sculpts portraits and human bodies in clay. Recently, he began working with bronze and metal welding to create extremely symbolic and provocative work.
