Chiara Spagnoli Gabardi

Chiara Spagnoli Gabardi, works as a writer and visual artist. As a bi-lingual journalist (British and Italian), who is also fluent in French and Spanish, she collaborates with online, print, radio and television media. Chiara is a frequent a juror on international film festivals. Chiara's work in media intertwines with her artistic career: her paintings are subtly connected to the use of language, since the witty title of each creation is inspired by the materials she upcycles on canvas. 

Her “Material Puns" have so far been exhibited in 4 continents in the cities of Milan, Rome, Venice, Florence, Palermo, Bologna, London, Oxford, Paris, Innsbruck, Küstendorf, Manhattan, Kathmandu, Kolkata and Port Douglas. Chiara is also a dedicated ARTivist, donating her works to causes and humanitarians she supports and is a Professor of Phenomenology of Contemporary Arts at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
