Claudia Giraudo

Claudia Giraudo was born in Turin in 1974. In 2001 she graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and then began her research journey in the field of figurative painting by studying the works of Renaissance masters and northern Europe; background that emerges both in the technique and in the choice of subjects, while retaining its personal stylistic code.

Claudia Giraudo evolves in a very refined pictorial research, which is only apparently simple and immediate in its aesthetic references, from 20th century surrealism to pop, but which discovers more closely a series of references and suggestions of nature to generate in the spectator the agitation of childhood on the threshold of adolescence. "Life is elsewhere" suggests Milan Kundera speaking of the lyrical age, the one in which we still believe to be the center of the world, an age which lasts the time of a glance then flees, but that Giraudo manages to freeze for always, precisely, in his absolute innocence.

She frequently exhibits in art fairs, private galleries and public institutional venues.
His works can be found in permanent collections and acquisitions of national and international museums, notably the Harmony Art Foundation in Mumbai (India), the MACIST Museum in Biella, the Eusebio Museum in Alba (CN), the Sala del Consiglio in Bossolasco (CN) and the Civic Museum of Bevagna (PG). She participated in the Venice Biennale.
